THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...EASTERN UNION COUNTY
 
AT 324 PM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR
8 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF CLAYTON MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 11 MPH. THIS
STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS BETWEEN CLAYTON AND MOUNT
DORA.  CLAYTON LAKE STATE PARK REPORTED THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH
DIAMETER HAIL WITH THIS STORM.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK REFUGE FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG
BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INSIDE AWAY
FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
