FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
 
   ...NORTHERN AND CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY
 
AT 620 PM MDT...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAINS WERE 5 TO
25 MILES SOUTH AND SOUTHEAST OF CORONA. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTH SOUTHEAST
NEAR 10 MPH. PREVIOUS STORMS HAVE AFFECTED THE AREA EARLIER AND
RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL TOTALS HAVE EXCEEDED 1 3/4 INCHES OVER THE
PAST HOUR TO HOUR AND A HALF.
 
BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTANT HEAVY RA&INFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS
FLOWS IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE THROUGH THESE WATERS. WATER IN ARROYOS MAY TRAVEL MANY MILES
AND TAKE HOURS TO REACH YOUR LOCATION FROM UPSTREAM RAIN AREAS.
