THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON ARIZONA HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM MST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA
 
   ...NORTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY INCLUDING THE TUCSON METRO AREA...
 
AT 755 PM...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO PRODUCE VERY
HEAVY RAIN OVER TUCSON...ESPECIALLY OVER THE CENTRAL AND NORTH
PARTS OF THE CITY.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE
NORTHWEST.  REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED OF FLOODED UNDERPASSES
AT BOTH THE SPEEDWAY AND PRINCE INTERSECTIONS WITH INTERSTATE 10.
 
HEAVY RAIN AND FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED OVER THE CENTRAL AND
NORTHWEST PARTS OF THE TUCSON METRO AREA THROUGH THE EVENING.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION.  AVOID DRIVING IF POSSIBLE...
AND DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAY DnIPS.
