000 TTAA00 KTUL 280629 TORTUL OKC113-280700- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 127 AM CDT SUN APR 28 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...NORTHERN OSAGE COUNTY AT 126 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH A HISTORY OF PRODUCING TORNADOES AND VERY LARGE HAIL CENTERED 5 MILES EAST OF SHIDLER...MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. RADAR INDICATES THIS STORM MAY STILL BE PRODUCING A TORNADO. PERSONIA IS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL UP TO GOLF BALL SIZE AND WINDS UP TO 75 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
