...THE HEAT ADVISORY FOR MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND A PORTION OF
WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS HAS EXPIRED...

THE HEAT ADVISORY WHICH INCLUDED THE TULSA...BARTLESVILLE...MCALESTER
AND FORT SMITH AREAS HAS EXPIRED.  ALTHOUGH AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES
REACHED THE MID 90S TO LOWER 100S THIS AFTERNOON...A SLIGHT COOLING
TREND IS EXPECTED.  HIGHS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS WILL REMAIN IN THE
LOW TO MID 90S...WHICH IS NEAR NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.  ALTHOUGH
IT WILL STILL BE HOT...THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY WILL NOT COMBINE
TO PRODUCE EXTREME HEAT INDICES LIKE DURING THIS PAST WEEKEND.
