000 TTAA00 KTUL 030239 SVRTUL ARC015-030330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 936 PM CDT SUN JUN 2 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ...WESTERN CARROLL COUNTY AT 935 PM...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF EUREKA SPRINGS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND WILL PASS NEAR EUREKA SPRINGS AND BEAVER. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM LIGHTNING DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE OR HAND HELD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES...UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY.
