FLASH FLOOD WARNING       EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...CENTRAL LYON COUNTY
 
AT 142 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED TORRENTIAL RAINFALL OCCURING WITH A
THUNDERSTORM NEAR EMPORIA. THIS STORM HAS SLOWED AND IS MOVING
ONLY 5 MPH TO THE SOUTHEAST. SOME FLOODING IS ALREADY OCCURING IN THE
EMPORIA AREA AND MORE VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ONLY AGGRAVATE
THE FLOODING FURTHER.
 
 
DONT DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADS!  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN
V6EHICLES.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
