BETWEEN ABOUT MIDNIGHT AND 115 AM...AN AUTOMATED WIND STATION AT ST
GEORGE HAS INDICATED WINDS IN EXCESS OF 58 MPH.  SPOTTERS IN
WASHINGTON COUNTY HAVE ALSO ESTIMATED WINDS IN EXCESS OF 58 MPH
DURING THIS PERIOD.  LAS VEGAS DOPPLER RADAR AT 115 AM INDICATED VERY
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 10-20 MPH FROM NEVADA
INTO WASHINGTON COUNTY.  

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG
BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY

               ...THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHWEST UTAH...

THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED RAPIDLY OVER SOUTHWEST UTAH LATE THIS
EVENING.  LIGHTNING DETECTION AT 1115 PM SHOWS MOST OF THE
THUNDERSTORMS OVER IRON AND NORTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES.  MOVEMENT
WAS TO THE EAST AT 25-30 MPH.

THESE STORMS CAN AND HAVE PRODUCED BRIEF HEAdVY RAIN OR SNOW...SMALL
HAIL... FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND GUSTY SURFACE WINDS.  JUST BECAUSE
IT'S WINTER DOESN'T MEAN THESE STORMS CAN'T BE DANGEROUS.  SEEK
SHELTER INDOORS IF THUNDERSTORMS MOVE INTO YOUR AREA.
