HEAVY RAINFALL DURING THE LAST TWO HOURS FALLING OVER ALREADY SOAKED
GROUND HAS CAUSED A RAPID RISE ON STREAMS IN LAWRENCE COUNTY.
SEVERAL STREAMS HAVE BEGUN TO OVERFLOW AND WATER WAS COMING ONTO
KY ROUTE 3395 ALONG DIAMOND BRANCH.
 
MORE HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 30 MINUTES TO ONE
HOUR. SOME LOCATIONS MAY RECIAVE ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN DURING THAT TIME
...ESPECIALLY IN WESTERN AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE

USHER DRIER AIR INTO THE REGION.  THUNDERSTORMS tEARLIER IN THE
EVENING HAVE ALSO HELPED TO REDUCE THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER.
