FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  615 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...GILMER COUNTY
 
AT 307 AM EDT DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT UP TO 1.25 INCH OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN IN THE PAST HOUR. THE 911 CENTER IN GILMER COUNTY HAS REPORTED
HIGH WATERS NEAR STEER RUN...AND NEAR DUSK CAMP OFF OF ROUTE 5. SOME
FAMILIES ARE BEING EVACUATED NEAR STEER RUN.
 
MORE SIGNIFICANT RAINS ARE EXPECTED EARLY THIS MORNING FOR GILMER
COUNTY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
