THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM MDT WEDNESDAY EVENING
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST WYOMING

   ...THE GREEN RIVER...NEAR LABARGE...IN NORTHEASTERN LINCOLN COUNTY...

AT 630 AM THIS MORNING THE STAGE OF THE GREEN RIVER NEAR LABARGE WAS
9.26 FT...EXCEEDING THE 9 FT FLOOD STAGE.  OBSERVERS REPORT WATER HAS
OVERFLOWED ITS BANKS NEAR AND UPSTREAM OF THE TOWN...AND HAS POSSIBLY
AFFECTED A HOME LOCATED NEAR THE RIVER SOUTH OF THE CITY.

THE WEATHER FORECAST IS FOR WARM TEMPERATURES AND A CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS TO PERSIST DURING THIS PERIOD.  THE RIVER AT
LABARGE IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE TO RISE TO BETWEEN 9.5 AND 10.0 FT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL UPSTREAM WITHIN THE
BASIN MAY AGGRAVATE THE FLOODING SITUATION IN THIS AREA.

ACTION NOW.  KEEP AWARE OF THE LATEST WEATHER AND RIVER CONDITIONS BY
