THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM PDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN WESTERN NEVADA
   ...LYON COUNTY
   ...DOUGLAS COUNTY

AT 830 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN...
AND HAIL WERE DRIFING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTH OVER LYON COUNTY.
THEY HAD ALSO SPREAD INTO EASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY MAINLY OVER
THE PINE NUT MOUNTAINS NORTHEAST OF MINDEN.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MANY FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM WASHES AND SMALL CREEKS.
