WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM PDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA

  ...SOUTHERN LASSEN COUNTY

DOPPLER WEATHER INDICATED EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN FALLING FROM A VERY
STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHERN LASSEN COUNTY. THIS INTENSE
THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER THE DIAMOND MOUNTAINS BETWEEN MILFOD AND DOYLE
AND WAS MOVING SLOWLY NORTH TOWARD HONEY LAKE. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL
LIKELY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING NEAR AND ALONG US HIGHWAY 395 SOUTH OF
JANESVILLE OVER THE NEXT 45 MINUTES.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY NE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
