THERE IS AN INCREASED THREAT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG...POSSIBLY DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND HEAVY RAINFALL. FREQUENT AND DEADLY LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY SOME OF THE STORMS. ALSO...SINCE STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE SLOW AND ERRATIC...THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF LOCALIZED FLOODING. SOUTHERN ARIZONA REMAINS IN A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS. THUNDERSTORMS NORTHEAST OF THE VALLEY HAVE PRODUCED AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY OF WINDS TO 45 MPH. THESE WINDS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE BLOWING DUST ACROSS THE EAST VALLEY REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO BETWEEN 1 AND 3 MILES AT TIMES BEFORE 530 PM.
