SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM PDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST OREGON
 
   ...NORTHWESTERN GRANT COUNTY...SOUTHERN UMATILLA COUNTY
 
A COMPLEX OF THUNDERSTORMS IN NORTHWEST GRANT COUNTY IS PRODUCING A
RADAR ESTIMATED .75 TO 1 INCH OF RAIN AN HOUR. SPOTTERS IN MONUMENT
REPORTED HEAVY RAINFALL AS THE STORMS PASSED BY ALONG WITH STRONG GUSTY
WINDS. THE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH A COUPLE OF
CELLS MOVING SLOWER LEADING TO THE POSSIBLITY OF FLASH FLOODING. AREAS
WHERE FOREST FIRES HAVE OCURRED ARE PRONE TO FALSH FLOODING.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
