FLOOD WATERS MAY ACTUALLY BE RECEDING.
 
HOWEVER...THE LARGE RIVERS WILL CONTINUE TO RISE AND CAUSE NEW FLOODING
PROBLEMS.
 
SO TONIGHT...CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY RULES...
 
BE EXTRA CAREFUL TRAVELING NOW THAT IT IS DARK AS IT IS HARDER TO
RECOGNIZE THE DANGER OF FLOODS.  IF YOU GET ANY INDICATION THAT FLOODS A
APPROACHING...MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.  MOST DEATHS
OCCUR IN FLOODING IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES OdR LOW
SPOTS OR ANYWHERE ELSE WHERE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...
