THE ATMOSPHERE HAS BECOME VERY UNSTABLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. ALTHOUGH A STRONG MID-LEVEL CAP IS IN PLACE ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN PLAINS...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS PARTS OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE AND NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA...IN AN AREA OF MAXIMIZED INSTABILITY.
