AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION...CORRECTED NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NASHVILLE TN 820 PM CDT SAT JUN 8 1996 HAVE ENJOYED A TEMPORARY LULL IN THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING IN THE MID-STATE AREA. HOWEVER, AS MENTIONED IN PREV AFD, WILL HAVE TO CLOSELY MONITOR TSTM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SUNDAY AS A NUMBER OF COUNTIES IN OUR FA NOW HAVE VERY LOW FF GUIDANCE (ESPECIALLY NWRN COUNTIES). AGREE WITH MEM'S IDEA OF PSBLY LOWERING POPS A LTL, ESPECIALLY SINCE TSTMS JW OF TN RIVER ARE CREEPING EVER-SO-SLOWLY EWD. HOWEVER, WILL HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON SHOWERS AND TSTMS ADVANCING ALONG OUR SRN FLANK OUT OF ALABAMA, AND BE PREPARED FOR A PSBL INCRS IN PRECIP POTENTIAL TOWARD MORNING.
