FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  130 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE
 
   ...NORTHERN GILES COUNTY...SOUTHERN MARSHALL COUNTY
 
AT 1031 PM CST PERSISTENT HEAVY RAIN HAS RESULTED IN RAINFALL AMOUNTS
CLOSE TO 2 INCHES SINCE 7 PM. WHILE THE RAIN WILL TAPER OFF BETWEEN 11
PM AND 12 MIDNIGHT...AN ADDITIONAL HALF TO ONE INCH OF RAIN IS LIKELY.
THIS WILL RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER
CROSSINGS. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID AREAS WHERE WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH
COVERS THE ROAD.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
