000 TTAA00 KOMA 090257 RRA TOROMA NEC095-090330- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OMAHA/VALLEY NE 952 PM CDT WED MAY 8 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA/VALLEY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA ...JEFFERSON COUNTY AT 952 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 2 TO 3 MILES NORTH OF FAIRBURY...OR 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BEATRICE. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 30 MPH. THE COMMUNITIES OF JANSEN AND HARBINE ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE.
