TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  700 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA
 
   ...WESTERN PLATTE COUNTY
 
AT 606PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 15 MILES WEST OF
MONROE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EASTSOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. SOME COMMUNITIES
IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE PLATTE CENTER...MONROE AND DUNCAN.
 
EARLIER THIS STORM PRODUCED 70 MPH WINDS AND 3/4 INCH HAIL IN SOUTHERN
BOONE COUNTY.
 
PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED.
