000 TTAA00 KOMA 230209 TOROMA NEC025-109-131-230245- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OMAHA/VALLEY NE 908 PM CDT WED MAY 22 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA/VALLEY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...WESTERN CASS COUNTY...EASTERN LANCASTER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA ...WESTERN OTOE COUNTY AT 908 PM A TORNADIC STORM WAS JUST EAST OF LINCOLN. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH. IN ADDITION TO THE THREAT OF TORNADOES...WINDS OF 80 TO 100 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. EAGLE...AND PALMYRA ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. 83 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED AT THE LINCOLN AIRPORT JUST PRIOR TO 900 PM CDT.
