IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA ...MONROE COUNTY AT 250 PM CST MOBILE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHERN MONROE COUNTY NEAR URIAH. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PASS CLOSE TO MEGARGEL...FRISCO CITY...EXCEL AND MONROEVILLE. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
