IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...GEORGE COUNTY...STONE COUNTY AT 253 PM...NWS DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR IN MOBILE INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED NEAR ROSETTE, MS. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL AFFECT NORTHEAST STONE COUNTY AND NORTHWEST GEORGE COUNTY THROUGH 350 PM. THIS STORM WILL MOVE EAST ALONG HIGHWAY 26. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
