SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN

AT 810 PM...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH
DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH MOVING ACROSS NORTHWEST DANE COUNTY.
 
MOVEMENT OF THIS LINE WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH...AND THEY WILL
AFFECT MOST OF DANE COUNTY INCLUDING THE MADISON METROPOLITAN AREA
THROUGH 900 PM.
 
THESE STORMS HAVE A HIS(TORY OF DAMAGING WIND.  GO INSIDE A STURDY
BUILDING AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS!  SOME TREES AND POWER LINES WERE
DOWNED WEST AND NORTH OF MADISON EARLIER WITH THESE STORMS.
