THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN

   ...ROCK COUNTY
 
AT 1246 AM CDT ROCK COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED WIDESPREAD FLOODING
IN THE CITY OF BELOIT. MANY CARS WERE REPORTED STRANDED ON CITY
STREETS.

RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING TO DEVELOP
OVER NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND MOVE ACROSS ROCK COUNTY. AS A
RESULT SERIOUS FLOODING MAY RESULT IN MANY AREAS OF ROCK COUNTY
ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS.  SMALL STREAMS MAY OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS
AND PEOPLE LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
RAPIDLY RISING WATERS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGER OF FLOODING.
