IN EAST CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...CRAVEN COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTY...ONSLOW COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AT 235 PM A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING OUT OF SOUTHEAST DUPLIN AND WESTERN JONES COUNTY INTO CRAVEN AND ONSLOW COUNTIES. LOCATIONS FROM CYPRESS CREEK TO JACKSONVILLE NORTHEAST TO NEW BERN CAN EXPECT THESE STORMS TO MOVE THROUGH BY 3 PM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND SOMETIMES DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
