AT 835 PM WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN NEWPORT INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF KENANSVILLE IN DUPLIN
COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL MOVE
ACROSS ROSE HILL BY 9 PM AND APPROACH THE WALLACE AREA BY
915 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR
YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO
