IN NORTH CENTRAL CALIFORNIA

AT 650 PM PDT MEDFORD DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 7
MILES WEST OF YREKA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 5
MILES PER HOUR. ANOTHER STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 10
MILES NORTH OF YREKA AND WAS MOVING TO SOUTHEAST AT 10 MPH. RESIDENTS
OF YREKA CAN EXPECT VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN
AND POSSIBLE HAIL UNTIL 735 PM PDT. MOTORISTS TRAVELLING ALONG
INTERSTATE 5 FROM SISKIYOU SUMMIT TO GRENADA SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION
DUE TO VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN HEAVY
RAINFALL.
