SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA
 
   ...SOUTHERN DADE COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS INCLUDING BISCAYNE BAY... FLORIDA BAY
 
AT 425 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR
ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 1 ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF HOMESTEAD. THE
THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS CARD
SOUND ROAD AND NEAR TURKEY POINT DURING THE NEXT HOUR. BOATERS
OVER SOUTHERN BISCAYNE BAY SHOULD BE ALERT AS THE THUNDERSTORM
WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA AT ABOUT 530 PM.
 
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
