SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA
 
   ...NORTHWESTERN COLLIER COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA COAST
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
AT 11 PM MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE
GULF OF MEXICO COASTAL WATERS 5 TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF NAPLES. THIS
STORM WILL MOVE ONSHORE OVER THE NORTHERN COLLIER COUNTY COAST FROM
NORTH NAPLES TO NAPLES PARK SHORTLY AFTER 11 PM. THE STORM WAS MOVING
NORTHEAST NEAR 40 MPH.
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
