FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 710 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN TENNESSEE

   ...SOUTHERN SHELBY COUNTY
 
RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES BETWEEN
GERMANTOWN AND I-240. WATER WAS RISING INTO CARS ALONG POPLAR AVE.
ADDTIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING OVER SHELBY COUNTY AND WILL
CONTINUE TO PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN FOR THE NEXT HOUR.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
