SYNOPSIS:

AS AN UPPER-LEVEL DISTURBANCE PUSHES THROUGH WEST AND CENTRAL
TEXAS...ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING
OVER MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. BY 1 PM...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE OCCURRING MAINLY SOUTHWEST OF A HOBBS...MIDLAND...BIG LAKE
LINE. THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE CENTRAL
AND SOUTHERN PERMIAN BASIN HEADING SOUTHWEST AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH
THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THESE STORMS AND ANY THAT DEVELOP
LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ARE NOT ANTICIPATED TO REACH SEVERE
LEVELS.

THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL...DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING...AND WIND GUST WHICH MAY APPROACH 50 MPH.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
