000 TTAA00 KMAF 202340 FFWMAF NMC015-210240- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 640 PM CDT (540 PM MDT) SAT JUL 20 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND TX HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 840 PM MDT (940 PM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO ...NORTHERN EDDY COUNTY AT 537 PM MDT (637 PM CDT)... RAINFALL ESTIMATES FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES HAVE OCCURRED 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF CARLSBAD. THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING THIS HEAVY RAINFALL HAS MOVED VERY LITTLE OVER THE LAST HOUR AND CONTINUES TO PRODUCE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. ,THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
