FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST TEXAS

   ...HOCKLEY COUNTY
   ...TERRY COUNTY
 
AT 940 PM...LUBBOCK RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER
SOUTHEASTERN HOCKLEY AND NORTHERN TERRY COUNTIES FROM SMYER TO NEAR
BROWNFIELD.  RADAR ESTIMATED 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN OVER
PARTS OF SOUTHEAST HOCKLEY COUNTY BY 940 PM.  VERY HEAVY RAIN IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE IN SOUTHEAST HOCKLEY AND MUCH OF TERRY
COUNTY THROUGH 1030 PM.  SOME FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT
QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
