IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS ...PIKE COUNTY AT 932 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS DETECTING A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER PIKE COUNTY ILLINOIS....FROM NEAR PITTSFIELD TO NEAR BARRY. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS INCLUDE PITTSFIELD...GRIGGSVILLE AND DETROIT. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF DAMAGING HAIL AND WINDS.
