THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH THAT WAS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF EASTERN
MISSOURI EXPIRED AT 800 PM.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH EASTERN MISSOURI EARLIER
THIS EVENING HAVE MOVED EAST INTO SOUTHWESTERN ILLINOIS. A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER EASTERN MISSOURI
AND EXTEND SOUTHWESTWARD INTO CENTRAL MISSOURI. THE SHOWERS ARE
MOVING EAST AROUND 35 MPH. HEAVY RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS.
