IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI ...SOUTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY AT 1215 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS DETECTING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 3 MILES SOUTH OF DESOTO. PEA SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED IN DESOTO AND LARGE TREE LIMBS WERE DOWN SOUTH OF DESOTO AT 1215 PM. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 35 MPH.
