OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA...

AT 355 PM DOPPLER RADARS...SATELLITE IMAGERY...AND LIGHTNING
DETECTION CHARTS INDICATED INCREASING THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
THUNDERSTORNS WERE BEING DETECTED OVER THE SANTA ROSA
MOUNTAINS AND THE DESERTS OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY. THESE
STORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY.

SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...STRONG WINDS...HAIL...AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING. BE PREPARED TO TAKE SHELTER IF A DANGEROUS
STORM APPROACHES.
