000 TTAA00 KSDF 032057 TORSDF KYC093-123-032130- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 456 PM EDT MON JUN 3 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM EDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY ...SOUTHERN HARDIN COUNTY...LARUE COUNTY AT 450 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 10 MILES WEST OF ELIZABETHTOWN. KENTUCKY STATE POLICE TROOPER SPOTTED A FUNNEL CLOUD. THE FUNNEL CLOUD WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL MOVE JUST SOUTH OF ELIZABETHTOWN BY 515 PM AND TO NEAR HODGENVILLE BY 525 PM EDT. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED BUILDING. AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
