FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 11:00AM EDT
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD
WARNING FOR CASEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY VALID UNTIL 11:00 AM
EDT.
 
BETWEEN 2 AND 6 INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS BEEN REPORTED ACROSS PARTS OF THE
COUNTY SINCE MIDNIGHT LAST NIGHT. MODERATE RAINFALL WILL MOVE ACROSS THE
COUNTY IN THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS AND WILL SEND SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS
NEAR OR OUT OF THEIR BANKS. ROADWAYS AND LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE
SUSCEPTABLE TO LOCALIZED FLOODING DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
