THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT (900 PM EST)
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH INDIANA

   ...JEFFERSON COUNTY

AT 710 PM PM EDT (610 PM EST)...NWS DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT JEFFERSON COUNTY INDIANA...AND LIKELY
WILL AT LEAST THROUGH 715 PM EST. DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED THAT
IN EXCESS OF 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS ALREADY FALLEN IN SOME SPOTS OVER
NORTHWEST JEFFERSON COUNTY...AND THE RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE.
SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL RISE BECAUSE OF THIS AND WILL LIKELY
OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS. CULVERTS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES WILL ALSO OVERFLOW
AND SOME ROADWAYS MAY LIKELY BE INUNDATED WITH WATER.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
