000 TTAA00 KSDF 110426 FFWSDF KYC223-110830- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 1222 AM EDT SAT MAY 11 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 AM EDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY ...TRIMBLE COUNTY AT 12 20 AM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN OVER TRIMBLE COUNTY AND BEDFORD FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORTED STREAMS OUT OF THEIR BANKS. RADAR INDICATED MORE HEAVY RAIN WILL BE MOVING ACROSS TRIMBLE COUNTY FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. THIS WILL PUSH ALREADY FLOODED STREAMS FURTHER OUT OF THEIR BANKS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 346 VALID UNTIL 11 PM EDT (10 PM CDT) FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER HAS PASSED FOR CENTRAL KENTUCKY. HOWEVER A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THIS AREA. THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN AS THEY MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHERN PARTS OF KENTUCKY.
