FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT (1100 PM EST)
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH INDIANA
 
   ...CRAWFORD COUNTY...DUBOIS COUNTY...ORANGE COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL OVER SOUTHERN INDIANA. OVER TWO AND A HALF
INCHES OF RAIN WAS REPORTED SINCE THIS MORNING IN HUNTINGBURG IN
SOUTHERN DUBOIS COUNTY. SEVERAL ROADS ARE COVERED WITH WATER AND SOME
HOMES ARE BEING EVACUATED IN THE HUNTINGBURG AREA. CREEKS AND STREAMS
ARE ALSO RISING OUT OF THEIR BANKS IN ORANGE COUNTY.
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
