000 TTAA00 KLBF 010018 SVRLBF NEC089-010045- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 717 PM CDT FRI MAY 31 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...EASTERN HOLT COUNTY AT 715 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED JUST NORTH OF PAGE (OR 12 MILES EAST OF O'NEILL) MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. BY 735 PM CDT THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING EAST OUT OF HOLT COUNTY. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM YOU SHOULD MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.
