FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY
 
   ...PIKE COUNTY
 
THE KENTUCKY STATE POLICE IN PIKEVILLE REPORTS THAT WATER IS BLOCKING
SOME ROADS SOUTH OF PIKEVILLE. RECENT HEAVY RAINS HAVE CAUSED SMALL
STREAM TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE
NEXT THREE HOURS WHICH COULD MAKE SMALL STREAM FLOODING WORSE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
