TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...LEAKE COUNTY...SCOTT COUNTY
 
AT 940 PM A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO WESTERN
PORTIONS OF LEAKE AND SCOTT COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT
30 MPH AND HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE AND FUNNEL CLOUDS.
 
A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LUDLOW...AND THIS STORM WILL
MOVE TO NEAR LUDLOW BY 950 PM. A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED WITH THIS
STORM AT 942 PM. ANOTHER POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS 5 MILES NORTH OF LUDLOW
MOVING TOWARD CARTHAGE.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE
HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  MOVE TO AN
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR O(F YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.
