IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...NEWTON COUNTY AT 221 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF NEWTON MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. THIS STORM WILL MOVE TO NEAR DECATUR BY 240 PM. DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MILES AN HOUR IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.
