000 TTAA00 KILM 102244 FFWILM SCC051-110045- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON NC 644 PM EDT WED JUL 10 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON NC HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN FLOODING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA ...CENTRAL HORRY AT 640 PM STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL HORRY COUNTY HAVE PRODUCED UP TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN SINCE 530 PM. THIS RAIN HAS CAUSED SOME URBAN FLOODING IN THE CONWAY AREA WITH THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 501/378 UNDER WATER. THE STORMS THAT ARE PRODUCING THE HEAVY RAIN ARE SHOWING LITTLE MOVEMENT. EXPECT THE HEAVY RAINS TO CONTINUE PAPST 7 PM WITH ADDITIONAL FLOODING POSSIBLE. DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD! NEVER DRIVE INTO A FLOODED STRETCH OF ROAD.
