NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI 515 PM CDT MON AUG 5 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY WI HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 620 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN ...MANITOWOC COUNTY AT 510 PM CDT...GREEN BAY DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE TOWNS OF JERICHO AND CHILTON IN SOUTHERN CALUMET COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH AND WILL REACH THE VALDERS AND ST. NAZIANZ AREAS BY 530 PM AND THE CITY OF MANITOWOC BY 545 PM. DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY.
